Movavi Screen Capture Studio is useful for creating a screencast about bug issues that you are experiencing in a software or game. You can then post the bug report video onto the company’s forum to get their attention to fix the bug issues. The screen recorder can also be used to record a game demo to encourage people to buy your game. If your friend needs help in using a software, you can use the screen recorder software to create a video tutorial to teach him. Afterwards, you can share the screencast video tutorial with him through email.

In Movavi Screen Capture Studio, you must use a cross hair cursor to determine the exact area of the screen where the screen recording will take place. It can record the sound that is coming from your speaker at the exact volume level that you set. You can also plug in your USB microphone to record yourself talking during the screen recording. It is also able to detect other types of external audio devices such as MIDI player that is connected to your computer.

To record input on a microphone or other external audio devices, you must click on the microphone button. You can only choose to use one external audio device at one time. You can choose the external audio device that you want to record fro the microphone drop down menu. If you are creating a tutorial, you want to make sure that the audience can follow the mouse cursor. You can enable or disable the cursor effects from the Cursor Effects menu under Capture menu.

By default, the highlight cursor color is yellow color but you can change this by going to the Set Up Effects dialog box. The default color for the left button click is red color while the default color for the right button click is blue color. It is also recommended that you enable the mouse click sound so that people will notice that you are clicking on something. You can customize the output frame size to full or ½ or ¼ size in the preference dialog box. The preference dialog box can be accessed from the settings drop down menu.

The easiest way to start record desktop video recording is to press F10. When you press F10, the count down timer will pop up. Nothing will be recorded when the timer is counting down. It only start recording after the count down timer disappear from the computer screen. During the screen recording, you should pay attention to the size of the screencast on top so that you know when to stop. You don’t want to wait for the screencast file to become too big to stop as you may not have enough hard disk space to store it.

Movavi Screen Capture Studio has a video editor for users to edit their screencast videos conveniently. Call outs in various styles such as highlighting, sketch and featured can be added onto the video. All the title styles in the video editor are animated. You can add these animated title styles to make the video look professional.
